Introducing the "Little Lemurs" trustees...

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself, but more importantly the very special team that help make all of "Little Lemurs" fund raising activities possible. Our trustees all have their own special skills, contacts and passions which they contribute freely to help me to help you...

..without their unending help, support and patience managing Little Lemurs simply wouldn't be possible and I would like to offer them all a very grateful "thank you"...

Andrea Parker - Founder and Chair of Trustees...

Harry’s Mum and mad cyclist!

I have an electronic engineering background and spent 8 years in the Royal Navy. Left the ocean life to become a project management consultant and trainer.

Two children later - Sammy and Harry, I decided that a career break was in order and now am a full time mum who occasionally manages to deliver project management training courses as a self employed trainer...

Claire Shears...

Having lived in Exeter (Three great years at "Probably the best university in the world"), Grantham and Harlow I finally settled in Spaldwick, with my husband James, 8 years ago.

In 1995 Exeter I completed my training as an Occupational Therapist and have worked in a variety of settings since. Currently I work part time as an Independent Occupational Therapist working from home.

I have two children - Caitlyn and Patrick. Caitlyn and Harry are friends until, of course, it comes to sharing their toys with each other!!

Darren Gamage...

Whistle blower extraordinaire!

With a marketing background, I have spent the last 10 years working for large support services companies helping them to develop their brands and build customer loyalty.

Having been an avid rugby player but suffering a minor spinal injury I took up rugby refereeing to keep my passion for the game – after several years at a local level I now referee on the RFU National Panel and spend half my life on the nations motorways...

Dave Button...

Married for 12 years to Tina and we have gorgeous twin daughters, Hannah and Jessica. I represented my county at Rugby and played for Hull schools at Basketball as a junior – whilst I still love sport, I tend to watch it from the armchair these days!

I have just about spent all of my working life (21 years) at Ideal Standard, the world’s largest bathroom manufacturer and I am now employed as “Head Bog Flogger” (Sales Director as it would be commonly known). I love my job as every day is different and it has given me the opportunity to build some great friendships and to travel far and wide.

I am passionate about Life, my Family, my Friends and Harry, and I am driven to make a difference - that’s why I am proud to be associated with Little Lemurs...

Helen Chalkley...

Having spent the last 10 years working within various technology companies including a brief stint with ‘Auntie’ (BBC) I now work for Siemens helping them to provide consulting and technology services to broadcasters and other media companies worldwide – an ideal excuse to watch TV!

Married to Darren and an eternal rugby widow, I enjoy travel, mad dancing, aerobics and spending time with friends and family.

According to Darren I am - “Dedicated, stubborn and feisty and that’s just at the weekend!!!”

Rachel Nimmons...

I am married with a gorgeous son, Evan. I studied Business Management at Sheffield University, and now work part-time as the General Manager of a local recruitment agency.

Being a mother, I completely admire Andrea’s strength and positive attitude to a devastating condition that Harry has been diagnosed with. Harry is a gorgeous happy little boy, who brings a smile to everybody he meets. I am honored to be a part of helping children and families who are in a similar situation to Harry and his family
